These rare cousins to our typical daisy are found mostly in Japan. Once cut, they emit a fragrance that contains a chemical called Sormenabob Sulfate, which some say has effect on the brain... causing an increased capacity for imagination and laughter. 

That sounds awesome.

Weird Laws of Kansas

There is an obscure law in Brigdendorff, Kansas that says you can pay city fees and fines with live chickens as long as they come from your farm or land.

County or state fines are payable only by cash, check, or credit card though.

The Invention of the T-Shirt

The T-shirt was actually invented in 1867 by Sir Edmond Tillichensteinberginski.

The shirts quickly became wildly popular with the British, but nobody could spell or pronounce his name so King George VI ordered them called T-shirts and it stuck!
